Salad & Wraps

Mother Nature Salad: makes 2-3 servings

- 1 head of Romaine Lettuce

- 1 head Green leaf lettuce

- 2 handfuls of Spinach

- 1/2 sliced bell pepper

- 2 large carrots peeled and cut into bite size pieces

- 1/2 avocado cubed

-1/2 green apple thinly sliced

-1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese

- 2 turkey deli meat cubed

- 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts or sliced almonds


Turkey cucumber wrap: (makes 2 wraps)

- 2 Whole wheat tortilla

- 1 small Cucumber thinly sliced into strips

- 1 large carrot peeled and thinly sliced into strips

- 2 leaves of green lettuce (cut the middle white part out)

- 3/4 cup of sliced cooked chicken breast

- 1/4 cup of cilantro

- 2 Tbsp of mayo

- 1/2 Tbsp of mustard


* Mix mayo and mustard together in small bowl, then spread it all around on the tortillas. Then lay lettuce across the whole tortilla and then in the middle put sliced carrots, cucumbers, chicken, and cilantro. Roll it up like a burrito and enjoy!


FAVORITE Sandwich:

- Two slices of Dave's Killer Bread (21 Whole Grains and seeds)

- Mayonnaise

- Cran-Peno jalapeño jelly (Pepperlane brand from Harmons)

- Six thinly sliced cucumber slices

- 1/4 of green bell pepper thinly sliced

- 1 slice of deli turkey

- 1 slice of Swiss cheese

- slice of tomato

- leaf of romaine lettuce


* Put mayonnaise on one slice of bread, put jelly on both slices of bread. Then tower the sandwich with other items and cut in half so you aren't trying to hold the whole sandwich at once and the sandwich falls apart. Sooo Good!
