Scrumptious Snacks

*Avo bread:

-Slice of pumpernickel bread toasted (trader joes) with smashed up avocado and a scrambled egg on top

*C-Stalk:

-Two celery stalks with cottage cheese and trader joes everything but the bagel seasoning sprinkled on top

*Strawberry balsamic bread:

-Slice of Dave's killer bread toasted with smashed up avocado and topped with sliced strawberries,then drizzle balsamic vinegar and shake a little pepper on top.

*Microwaved potato:

- Get 1 Yukon gold potato and poke several holes in it with a fork. Then put the potato in the microwave for 5-6 minutes, then cut open the potato and top with slice turkey deli meat, plain greek yogurt, sliced celery, and salt&pepper

*Appeach Salsa:

- In a bowl, combine 1 diced apple, 1/2 peach (sliced into small cubes), 1/2 cup diced red pepper, 1/2 diced jalapeno without seeds, 1/4 cup of fresh lime juice, 1/8 cup of diced red onion, cilantro to taste, and salt&pepper. Enjoy with original thin triscuit crisps!

*Apple Nachos:

-Get one apple and slice it into to small sliver pieces (half circle shape), lay pieces flat on a plate. Then get some pb and warm it up in the microwave till it is soft and pourable. Using a spoon just drizzle the pb over the apples. Then cut up some walnuts and pecans and sprinkle over the top (can use granola). Enjoy!!! Can also add greek yogurt over the top or chocolate.

*Avocado Chicken Salad:

-This is a throw it all together chicken salad. Get a cup of shredded chicken (or chickpeas and mash them up) and add half of an avocado and mix/ smash it all up. Then add some lemon juice, salt&pepper, thinly sliced celery, some diced up jalapeno, and diced green onion. Mix this all up and enjoy with crackers, on bread, or on its own.

*Clementine with a half a cup of almonds

*Whole grain rice cake with Adams PB and sliced banana

*Frozen grapes dipped in greek yogurt

*1/2 cup of cottage with a small handful of blueberries and 1/8 cup of chopped walnuts and 1/8 cup of chopped of slivered almonds

*Ten carrots or half of sliced bell pepper with a 1/4 cup of hummus

* Two spoonfuls of hummus with naan
